CBD F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions about CBD

Can I get high from CBD products?
No. The Bradley’s Brand CBD comes from industrial cultivated hemp plants—not marijuana—which is why it is legal for us to import and extract the CBD-rich oil and isolate.

Are CBD and THC the same thing?
No, they are different compounds. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, but THC is the cannabinoid that gets you “high” or “stoned.” CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it won’t get you “high.”

Is the CBD in The Bradley’s Brand products synthetic?
No. The Bradley’s Brand CBD is a natural constituent of industrial hemp. An isolate powder is used in the eliquids to avoid any trace amounts of THC and to allow for much better flavors than those made with oils.

What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol, the most prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. According to the US Government, cannabidiol is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect. ” After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

What is the Endocannabinoid system and how does CBD help me?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is one of science’s newest and most exciting discoveries. The ECS in your body, regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping, certain inflammation responses and even cognitive function. There are two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body (CB1 and CB2), but they are most abundant in the brain and immune system respectively. In a nutshell, your ECS is responsible for making sure your entire body is working optimally.

Will CBD help me with my illness?
Due to FDA regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not CBD can help with specific ailments. We do, however, suggest that you conduct your own research.

I’ve never tried CBD. Where should I start?
If you’ve never tried CBD before, eliquids are a great start.
